Fish in South America

With the coastline exceeding 30,000 km in length and exposed to two oceans, South America is not only a home of steaks and meat. The continent also offers a rich variety of seafood and has a long tradition of fishing and eating fish.To name just a few:

Ceviche is quickly becoming as ubiquitous as sushi. First outlets serving only ceviche are starting to open in London. At Comedor, we serve ours Peruvian style – slices of pollock, marinated for some 6 to 8 minutes in lime juice, served with sweet potato, two types of corn and marinated onions.

When it comes to fish main course size dishes, at Comedor we try to offer a choice. We endeavour to have at least two types of fish on the menu with at least one of them to be served grilled.

Here at Comedor we serve a wide variety of fish dishes. Our fish and seafood starters include Ceviche, Baby Squid, Seared Tuna and Tiradito. For mains we offer Sea Bass, Swordfish and Scallops.
